About Kuriosities
Kuriosities is a handcrafted jewelry studio based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, on Canada’s East Coast. Rooted in coastal landscapes and slow craft, we create timeless jewelry designed to be worn every day and kept for years.
Founded by goldsmith and lead designer Kimberly McIntyre, Kuriosities began as a small studio practice and has grown into a full metalsmith workshop supported by an all-woman team of skilled artisans. Each piece is designed and made in-house using sterling silver, 14k gold filled, and fine gold, with a focus on thoughtful detail, durability, and wearability.
Our Point of View
We believe jewelry should feel personal, not precious in the fragile sense, but meaningful in the way it becomes part of a life.
Much of our work is inspired by the natural textures of Prince Edward Island - shifting sand, moving water, quiet forests, and weathered shorelines. Our signature Sand Collection, textured using sand gathered from the beaches that inspire the work, has become a cornerstone of the brand.
Many Kuriosities collections are designed to layer and stack, encouraging customers to build pieces over time. This approach supports gifting, milestones, and repeat purchases, while allowing each wearer to create something uniquely their own.
